In alignment with Presidential Proclamation 9693 under Section 201 of the Trade Act of 1974, be reminded that the 2020 quota year providing for tariff rate quota (TRQ) for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic (CSPV) cells; large residential washing machines and parts of washing machines will open on February 7, 2020.

In alignment with Presidential Proclamation 9979 of January 23, 2020: Quantitative limitations applicable to imports of large residential washers under HTS subheadings 8450.11.00 and 8450.20.00, for the third quota year (2020) are limited on a quarterly basis.

Please refer to Quota Bulletin QB 20-507 2020 Solar Cells/Modules and QB 20-505 2020 Large Residential Washers and Covered Parts (https://www.cbp.gov/trade/quota/bulletins) which address tariff rates and quantity thresholds for February 7, 2020 to February 7, 2021.

All entries submitted prior to 8:30 am EST February 7, 2020 will be counted in the first opening at 8:30 am EST.  If the totals exceed the limit all accepted entries will be prorated.

Large residential washers (only) are limited on a quarterly basis:

February 7, 2020 to May 6, 2020 – 300,000 units without rollover

May 7, 2020 to August 6, 2020 – 300,000 units without rollover

August 7, 2020 to November 6, 2020 – 300,000 units without rollover November 7, 2020 to February 7, 2021 – 300,000 units without rollover
