Ed started his career in 1994 at BARTHCO International and continued with the succeeding companies of OHL and GEODIS.  In 1996, he obtained his Customs Brokerage License and is a Certified Customs Specialist.  Ed has thirty-two years of experience in brokerage operations, trade compliance, and business development.  He specializes in the import verticals of fresh produce, food & beverage, forest products, and base metals.  As a member of various trade associations,  Ed is continually active in the port community and has been the past president of the Word Trade Association of Philadelphia and treasurer of Ship Philly First.  Ed currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Chilean Chamber of Commerce, Maritime Exchange of the Delaware River & Bay, and the American Metals Supply Chain Institute.   Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from La Salle University, and certification from Penn State University’s Supply Chain Management Program. He and his wife, Pamela, reside in Haddon Heights, NJ with their two children. When not working, Ed’s interests include golf, Philly sports, American history, and family trips to new places.
