John Mallough, Director of Import Operations, is a licensed Customs Broker with almost 30 years experience in the brokerage and transportation industry. Although just recently joining 721 Logistics in October 2019, John has held numerous positions in the industry over his career starting as a warehouseman for a local privately owned Customs Broker in Philadelphia. With experience in mostly every commodity in the Harmonized Tariff Code, John has had extensive focus in the home furnishings and semi-finished steel product verticals.
In addition, John also gives time to the World Trade Association of Philadelphia, a volunteer program designed to provide education and promote the port. He recently served as the WTA President in 2018. Born into the business and raised in South Jersey, he still resides locally with his family.
